Here at Medicare Cosmetics, we are delighted to say we have the Lynton Focus Dual medical grade machine. It consists of RF Micronedling and HIFU within the one machine. The main aim of the treatment is facial lifting, skin tightening and fat reduction.

The Focus Dual system utilises a combination of 3 effective anti-aging tools in a single system. The Fractional Needle RF is a combination of Vacuum technology and micro-needle RF. In addition to this, the HIFU hand piece uses High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) to produce a pronounced lifting and tightening effect. Radio Frequency Microneedling and HIFU work well in combination for lifting, tightening and firming, achieving optimal rejuvenation.

Why the Focus Dual is different to other devices/machines

Focus Dual is a revolutionary treatment using super fine non-insulated micro-needles which, unlike some laser procedures or surgery, protects the surface of the skin from damage. As treatments are targeted at variable depths below the skin surface, healthy skin is left undamaged causing minimal pain, reduced discomfort and less downtime when compared to invasive procedures. Unlike invasive procedures and many non-invasive procedures, Focus Dual involves virtually no downtime.

What is High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)?

HIFU stands for ‘High Intensity Focused Ultrasound’ and it is a non-surgical treatment that uses ultrasound to lift, firm and tighten the skin.

How does HIFU work?

HIFU deposits focused ultrasound energy below the surface of the skin, contracting all skin layers in just one treatment! This stimulates the creation of new collagen in the area. HIFU is highly effective in firming, tightening, and lifting the facial skin and reducing excess skin on the body.

How does HIFU stimulate collagen?

Collagen is a natural protein that gives skin its youthfulness by keeping it firm, tight, and lifted. As we age, collagen loses its structure and its ability to stand up to the effects of gravity. HIFU kickstarts the repair process and helps the skin to produce fresh, strong collagen.

How does the treatment work?

This non-surgical face lift works on the SMAS layer deep below the skin, which is the area surgeons tighten for face and neck lifts. Rather than surgery, the Focus Dual harnesses ultrasound technology to radiate energy to the SMAS layer to tighten, lift and plump the skin.
