Body Lipolysis

Body Lipolysis is intended for the reduction of localised fat areas or deposits as an alternative to invasive fat removal surgeries.

This treatment involves injecting a medical grade mesotherapy product into the fat deposits.

What products are used?

Phosphocol is used for localised fat deposits in patients with ideal body weight or overweight. Is used for localised lipodystrophy (back, arms, abdomen, thigh fat), this being a very effective tool in correcting unsightly deposits of fatty tissue.

It has a lipotrophic mobilizing action that increases the fluidity or permeability of the adipose membrane, which promotes lipid component outflow. This is related to the saturation of fatty acids (when saturation decreases, permeability increases). Lecithin acts by increasing the action of enzymes that degrade lipids from cellular membrane.

Sodium Desoxycolato is a sodic salt of the deoxycholic bile acid. It decreases superficial tension and emulsifying fat enhancing lipase action. Therefore, fats become water soluble, facilitating their solubility and elimination.

How many treatments are needed?

We highly recommend an interval of 6 weeks between treatments to allow the traumatised fat deposits to heal ready for another treatment. The treatment is recommended to be used for 4-6 sessions per area you wish for the fat deposits to be reduced. Cost per treatment will be given at your free consultation and is based on the size of the area that requires treating.
