What are PDO Threads?
PDO Thread lifting is a general term which applies to the use of PDO (polydioxanone) sutures to lift and tighten sagging skin tissues through mechanical lifting and by inducing collagen production.

What is a PDO Treatment?

How do PDO Threads work?
The treatment method is based on implanting the biodegradable, absorbable and nonallergenic medical “suctures”, otherwise known as threads into the skin that stimulate collagen production. The PDO Threads are slowly broken down and bio-absorbed naturally in the skin tissue over a four to six month time period. Intraline PDO threads have a powerful dual effect. The first is to provide immediate tightening of the skin. The second is to stimulate your body’s own ability to generate collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. Collagen is a protein responsible for the tension and firmness of the skin. Elastin is responsible for skin firmness and elasticity. Hyaluronic acid causes the skin to rehydrate. Stimulating hyaluronic acid growth, resulting in improved skin moisture and the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Thank you Claire! Claire did three PDO threads on each side of my face and 2 at the jawline each side. Gotta say, it was quick, easy and there was like a dull tugging sensation (hard to describe) and didn’t hurt. I felt so relaxed and it was over and done with quickly. The results were instant.
