You are thinking of booking or you have already booked (high five) your eyebrow appointment… what should you expect on the day?
On arrival at Medicare, you will be greeted by one of our members of the team. You will be asked to take a seat in reception, where you are able to speak to the technicians, interact and become more comfortable.
You’ll of course be welcomed with a hot beverage, should you wish to have one and numbing cream will be applied to your eyebrows and left to work its magic for thirty minutes.
During this time, you will be asked to complete what seems like a lengthy consultation form (what can we say, we like to get to know all about you before you go under the needle) and you should be worried otherwise!
Time to sip on your coffee and relax.
After 30 minutes, your technician will take you into the treatment room – this is where the magic happens. We will go through with you the entire consultation form, covering every nook and cranny. Any questions you have will be answered no matter how silly you may feel asking them – ask them! There is no such thing as a silly question.
Shape, colour and style will be discussed, after this, the technician will begin drawing on the template. The template allows you as a client to see what shape your eyebrows are going to be when you leave (Medicare prides themselves on sticking to the drawn on template, something less experienced technicians may struggle to do). Once you and your technician have agreed to the drawn on template, the treatment will commence.
Carefully implanting hair strokes using a top of the class machine, the treatment will take around 45-60 minutes. During which your technician will explain everything you need to know about aftercare and what to expect.
After the treatment, you will get to see your new brows! You will be given an aftercare sheet to take home and a second follow appointment will be made for you (should you need one).
Remember, when you leave the clinic, the aftercare doesn’t end. We encourage clients to call us throughout the healing process and beyond that should they have any questions!
Happy new brow day!
