About the range of skin peels that we use…

The Mesoestetic peels are the most advanced range of specific chemical peels. They achieve an accelerated skin regeneration in a controlled manner for visible, immediate and progressive results.

Visible

Immediate and progressive results obtained in a controlled and safe manner.

Prevention and maintenance

Regular Maintenance peels, several times a year, sustain the skins healthy apprearence, improving texture and providing a preventative anti aging effect.

The objectives of a peel are to purify and oxygenate the skin, leaving it free or impurities, to close open pores, improve the texture of the skin and increase the thickness of the epidermis.

Address the effects of skin aging, softening wrinkles and adding turgidity, unify skin tone and luminosity and smooth cutaneous imperfections, lighten and attenuate pigmented lesions, providing a depigmenting effect. Reduce the manifestation of acne and improve the appearance of scars.

The peeling process consists of provoking accelerated skin regeneration in a controlled manner through the application of the peel that are used on the different layers of the skin. The peeling action caises the elimination of the external layers of the skin with the objective of stimulating collagen and elastin production, thus enhancing the skins appearance.

Peels can be classified into 4 levels

1.Highly superficial- stratum corneum ( outer layer of the skin) , increases uniformity of the skin tone for a more luminous appearance

2.Superficial, stimulates epidermal to basal layer. Stimulates epidermal growth by removing the stratum corneum. This causes skin to flake in a similar way to that occurring after excessive sun exposure

3.Medium – Papillary dermis. They cause significant flaking by inducing superficial dermal inflammation, it completely removes the epidermis, which then renews until fully regenerated reticular dermis.

4.Deep chemexfoliation leaded to an inflammatory reaction of the reticular dermis, including collagen and elastin fibre reconstruction

Factors influencing the depth of exfoliation after a peel

  1. Numbers of layers applied
  2. Skin preparation
  3. Amount of time its applied for / gel peels guarantee a uniformed application. They penetrate tissues more slowly, therefore their effects depend on exposure time.
  4. Concentration and the PH level, chemical peel depth, intensity and effectiveness vary according to the concentration of the substance used and the PH of the same.
  5. Skin typology, condition and thickness. The activity and density of the sebaceous glands and the integrity of the epidermal barrier.
  6. Treatment area.
